Bethany Valachi, PT, MS, CEAS is author of the book, "Practice Dentistry Pain-Free: Evidence-based Strategies to Prevent Pain & Extend Your Career", clinical instructor of ergonomics at OHSU School of Dentistry in Portland, OR and Ergonomics Editor for DPR magazine.  A physical therapist who has worked exclusively with dental professionals for over 15 years, she is recognized internationally as an expert in dental ergonomics and has provided more than 700 dental lectures including the International Dental Ergonomics Congress in Krakow, Poland and the Asia Pacific Dental Conference in Dubai.  She has published more than 50 articles in the JADA, Australian Dental Practice, Dentistry Today, Dental Economics, CDA Journal, RDH, Contemporary Oral Hygiene and numerous other peer-reviewed dental journals. She is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and consults with universities and practicing dental professionals to improve ergonomics, work more comfortably and extend their careers.   Bethany is a member of the National Speaker's Association and an AGD PACE approved CE provider.  Bethany is currently finishing her doctorate degree, which will be completed in September 2016.

Dr. Keith Valachi, DDS operates a dental practice in Portland, Oregon and is a published author in dental journals, including the JADA and Dentistry Today. Dr. Valachi has worked with dental manufacturers to trial and evaluate their ergonomic products and has provided valuable insight to the development of an effective injury prevention program for dental clinicians.
